EKOFUNGI is an innovative, organically certified producer from Serbia of cultivated mushrooms and vegetable dry mixes, unique in the region and one of the rare in Europe. The company applies circular, emission-free and waste-free production of organic food for today’s responsible consumers, supporting livelihoods of local farmers. EKOFUNGI also organizes education in sustainable mushroom growing. Rooted in both science and practice, it provides participants with the firm knowledge base how to grow sustainable and profitable mushroom business. 25 years of experience of mushrooms-on-waste business was packaged into a comprehensive course. 71 participants from 37 business from 31 country participated in Ekofungi School up to now.

Meraki People focuses on bio-based and nature-based innovations that can help create jobs and increase revenue, reduce the carbon footprint and reverse the urbanization trend that countries like Greece are facing. MP provide advisory services as an incubator to start-ups and scientists working/doing research on these fields in order to assist in scaling up and leading to the desired socio-technical regime. Additionally MP have a functioning bio-lab where candidate innovations can be tested for validity in the mushroom field.

Environmental and Territorial Management Institute collaborate with experts in the field of environment, territory, and other related fields to promote environmental territorial management at regional, national and international level in accordance with modern sustainable development standards. The staff of the organization come from environmental backgrounds where water, energy, food, and climate topics are the key themes of their work. ETMI aim is to capitalize the project by collaborating with rural communities, cities, private sector, and universities to nurture a circuit of support to mushroom farming and contribute to shaping the next generation of CEA operators in the agriculture sector.

ESI projects is a spin-off company and is born because of the market demand on energy and climate transition. The scope of the company is to support cities in preparation of the energy and climate action plans, moreover, it supports SMEs in developing and implementing companies in ESG and carbon transition through researching, consulting and product development. Since 2024, ESI team is establishing the first bio-lab in Albania for mushroom cultivation. The mushroom production will be through coffee-ground and straw. The benefits of the lab are to create new job opportunities for local people and promote circular practices in the agriculture sector.

Plantadjun LTD is based on the promotion of the concept of urban gardens and sustainable agriculture, as well as the promotion of the participation of citizens from urban areas in agricultural production as one of the most promising branches of production in Montenegro. “Plantadjun” is an initiative that deals with the development of urban gardens and the promotion of agriculture. The Ministry of Science of Montenegro approved the financing of the project as part of the “Competition for awarding grants for innovative projects”.
