The MUSHLINK β Promoting Mushroom Farming in Western Balkan through strengthening linkages between VET providers and the business sector project is pleased to announce an open Call for Participants for the upcoming VET Providers Training Programme on Sustainable Mushroom Farming and Circular Bio-Economy.
This intensive 5-day training is designed to strengthen the capacity of vocational education and training (VET) providers to deliver high-quality, market-relevant training in mushroom production, sustainable agriculture, and green entrepreneurship.

π― Training Objectives
The programme aims to:

Strengthen technical knowledge in mushroom cultivation and production systems

Introduce circular bio-economy principles and climate-smart agricultural practices
-
Develop practical skills in substrate preparation, inoculation, and climate control
-
Support participants in designing mushroom-based business models
-
Enhance collaboration between VET providers and the agricultural business sector
π What the Training Includes
Participants will benefit from a blended learning approach, including:

Lecture sessions on mushroom biology, sustainable production, climate-smart farming, and mycelium-based bio-products

Demonstration sessions on commercial mushroom cultures, growing unit organization, Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), and business pitching
-
Hands-on workshops covering substrate preparation, spawn handling, disease control, and business plan development

Study visits to production units applying circular bio-economy principles
All training materials, handouts, and evaluation tools will be provided. Participants who successfully complete the programme will receive a Certificate of Participation.
